DayZ is free-to-play this weekend on Steam. The free weekend starts on Thursday, February 13 at 1 PM Eastern. It ends on Monday, February 17 at 1 PM Eastern.
Bohemia Interactive says that to play DayZ for free, players will just have to head over to the store page on Steam and install the game. That’s it! Of course, you do need to have a free Steam account.
The free weekend comes on the heels of the 1.07 update, which focuses on bug-fixing, tweaks, and optimizations. Although introducing only a few new pieces of content – such as a new weapon and ammo types – it brings a huge addition to the map: Amusement Parks.
