GamePro is reporting that, “Across the internet, new owners of the Nintendo DS Lite are collating their stories and swapping home brew remedies to help rectify the ‘dead pixel’ problem. In a post onTheMagicBox.com, forum member Ogami gives an account of the dead pixel on his brand-new DS Lite. ‘When I turned it on… the upper screen has a red dot that wouldn’t go away.’ Another user, Newtype, states that his dead pixel ‘randomly changes colors.'” It’s worth noting that no such reports have emerged on our forums yet.
