Gearbox today announced Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour for Nintendo Switch. It launches on June 23.
The 20th Anniversary Edition of the landmark first-person-shooter contains the 1996 classic Duke Nukem 3D in its full glory. It features classic Jon St. John one-liners, Bobby Prince’s legendary soundtrack, an all-new episode containing eight original levels, and Nintendo Switch specific features.
The game will make optional use of the Switch’s gyroscopic aiming, HD rumble, motion controls, and local wireless multiplayer. The game lets you play the game using the original 1996 graphics engine. Alternatively, you can toggle in real-time to play with the original content rendered at high fidelity and an enhanced frame rate.
The game will launch on Nintendo eShop at a 50 percent discounted until July 7. It will then retail for $9.99. It’s also already available on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
We don’t have a Switch trailer yet, but you can watch the trailer for the original release below!
