E3 2021: Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco among latest companies to confirm

E3 2021

The list of companies confirmed for the all-virtual E3 2021 continues to grow.

Today saw the addition of several high-profile video game publishers and developers, as well as tech, hardware, and streaming companies. Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, XSEED Games, Marvelous USA, Gearbox Entertainment, Freedom Games, Devious Eye Entertainment, Turtle Beach, Verizon, and Binge.com are joining the fray.

This year’s show is planned as an online-only event. Companies that previously committed to the new online-only format include Nintendo, Microsoft, Capcom, and Ubisoft. This year’s hosts are the video game personalities Greg Miller, Jacki Jing, and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez.

Some big names have still yet to confirm their attendance, including the two largest third-party publishers – Activision and Electronic Arts – as well as Sony. It wouldn’t surprise us if they do their own virtual events separate from E3.
