Europe Short-Supplied on 360’s

The Xbox 360 is about to launch in European — and Microsoft’s new system will likely be in very short supply as there will only reportedly be some 300,000 units ready for launch. Speaking to German weekly Euro am Sonntag, Microsoft executive Chris Lewis said that estimates of 300,000 units “were not far removed from reality,” as posted on IGN’s website. Compared to the American launch (which itself suffered from short supply), it looks like Microsoft is snubbing Europe with an even shorter supply. No word on when more units will become available.
