Fandom acquires online game retailer Fanatical

Fanatical

Online game retailer Fanatical is now part of Fandom, the world’s largest fan platform.

Fandom has more than 330 million monthly users. Fanatical says that the partnership will help it “scale and deliver a better experience for all of our customers and B2B partners.”

Fanatical has a catalog of thousands of PC games, eBooks, and eLearning courses. We often feature their game deals on our sister site, Game Deals 365. They often have their own game bundles and special one-day discounts.

Managing Director Craig Johnson released the following statement:

Everyone here at Fanatical is thrilled to become part of the Fandom family. The synergies between our two companies are undeniable and the opportunities this acquisition presents are both incredibly exciting and vast.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our partners for their ongoing support. I look forward to our continued collaboration and growth, as we begin this new chapter.

In a Q&A, Fanatical maintains that its operations will not change. Account details will remain the same, so users do not need to update anything within their account. The company adds that it is remaining in the UK.
