Sony just announced today that they will be releasing a bundle of Grand Theft Auto IV and the PlayStation 3 40GB model (with a Six Axis controller as opposed to the new Dual Shock 3) for €439. “We are delighted to offer the millions of PS3 and GTA fans the ultimate gaming package,” said David Reeves, President, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
The bundle will launch alongside the game on April 29, 2008 and is exclusive to Europe. American gamers have reason to be happy, though. Despite not getting a Grand Theft Auto IV bundle, future PlayStation 3 owners can look forward to the Metal Gear Solid IV PS3 bundle that was previously announced. The MGS IV PS3 will come out sometime in June for $499, replacing the Motorstorm bundle.
