Focus Entertainment has announced the release of the Operation: Warlord update within Insurgency: Sandstorm. The tactical FPS from New World Interactive gets its first free major content update on consoles today. Operation: Warlord delivers a new map, game mode, weapons, and cosmetics.

Operation: Warlord lets players escort or take out the VIP in the exciting new Ambush game mode. Race from cover to cover through tight alleyways in the new Gap map while mastering the new P90 and Vector weapons and sporting stylish new cosmetics on the battlefield.

In addition, the new Praetorian Set Bundle has been released, including four Warlord-themed gear and weapon skin sets. These premium cosmetics are the first step for Year 2 content within Insurgency: Sandstorm. Owners of the Gold Edition or Year 2 Pass can download them for free.

The update is now live on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It was already available on PC.
