Minecraft Dungeons hits 10 million players

Minecraft Dungeons

Mojang announced today that Minecraft Dungeons has topped 10 million players. That’s across all platforms and includes Xbox Game Pass players.

Minecraft Dungeons launched last May on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. It’s also now available on Xbox Series X. In July, Mojang released the Jungle Awakens DLC. A second DLC, Creeping Winter, is also out.

“I don’t think any of us at Mojang Studios could have ever imagined that the community of our dungeon-crawler passion project would grow to this point,” the company said in a blog post.

According to Mojang, the Arch-Illager has been defeated nearly 6 million times. Players have collectively spent over a thousand years in the camp. That’s a lot of camping.

To celebrate reaching these new milestones, Mojang is releasing a new cape and a pet for the game’s players. The items will be available in your inventory on February 24. A free game update is releasing on the same day.
