Sony announced today that NFL Sunday Ticket will be coming to PS3 as an app downloaded through PlayStation Network. It will allow users to watch every out-of-market football games every Sunday in HD. It costs $299.95 for the 2012 NFL season. You do not need DirecTV in order to purchase NFL Sunday Ticket on PS3. Current subscribers through DirecTV can access the PS3 app for free.
