Nintendo just made it a little easier to organize your Switch games thanks to a new group folder option.
The latest Nintendo Switch console update allows users to categorize their games into different custom groups. The feature is only available when more than 12 software titles are saved on the Nintendo Switch system.
To make use of the new feature, Nintendo says that you will need to make sure that the system is updated to version 14.0.0 or later. You can navigate to it from the Nintendo Switch Home Menu when you scroll all the way to the right and select All Software. Pressing the L button will bring up software groups.
According to Nintendo, users can create up to 100 groups with a max of 200 titles per group. Importantly, the new feature lets you add the same software title to multiple groups. So you could add a game like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to groups like “Mario games” and “racing games.”
You can find more details on the new group feature on the official Nintendo website.
The latest #NintendoSwitch update is now available, including a new feature to create groups for software on the console.
