Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, the mobile edition of the critically acclaimed Octopath Traveler trilogy, is coming shortly to Android and iOS. That’s according to Square Enix. In this mobile edition, players are immersed in an entirely new tale set in the realm of Orsterra. It’s set a few years before the events of the acclaimed RPG Octopath Traveler.

As “the Chosen One,” travel around Orsterra and struggle to stop terrible dictators from unleashing endless darkness on the country. This exciting mobile prequel title has high-quality visuals, interesting combat, and a tale that is comparable to Octopath Traveler.
The game’s traditional 2D pixel imagery has been upgraded with 3D CG effects, bringing Orsterra’s magical world to life. Players will explore the highly designed locations, which are chock-full of side missions, scary enemies, and hidden riches.
In addition, Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent will have over 64 characters to pick from upon launch, allowing for limitless team combinations. You’ll be able to personalize your squad builds for each battle in order to triumph on the battlefield.
Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is set to be released in 2022 for Android and iOS devices. Fans of the franchise who want to sample the game before it is released can do so during a restricted beta test for Android from March 22 to April 4.
