Path of Exile: Echoes of the Atlas

Grinding Gear Games announced today that Path of ExileEchoes of the Atlas has launched on PC. The PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions launch on January 20.

According to Grinding Gear Games, the expansion delivers new end-game content, a new challenge league, new skills, and a new pinnacle boss simply known as The Maven.

The Echoes of the Atlas expansion delivers several new pieces of content and improvements. Aside from the new boss and new boss arena, it also includes Atlas passive skill trees, craftable Watchstones, 11 new maps, and more.

We previously detailed some of the new content, including The Maven, in a post last week. To recap:

The Maven is hungry to witness the player’s fight for survival against the Atlas’ most dangerous enemies. Slaying three map bosses in her presence will earn players a summons to her realm where she will request they defeat these bosses simultaneously. Then four bosses. Then five bosses, then six until players are finally able to defeat ten at the same time. Once this incredible feat of strength is shown, that’s when The Maven will challenge combatants herself.

Grinding Gear Games has released plenty of new content in recent months. The company offered three ‘epic’ in-game events in December. And the last expansion, Blight, came out back in September 2019.
