After over a month of being down, the PlayStation Store is now back online. Sony announced the restoration late Wednesday night on their official blog. Not surprisingly, the store is also live with dozens of new items for users to purchase, including a number of new downloadable games for PS3, such as Bonk’s Adventure, Sega Rally Online Arcade, Star Raiders, and more (on top of downloadable games for PSP). There are also new map packs for Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4.

Sony was also sure to mention that their “Welcome Back” program is not currently active, despite PSN and the PlayStation Store being back online. “You may have noticed that the content promised as part of the Welcome Back offer is not yet live. It is currently in the final stages of testing and will be available to download soon; we’ll be sure to let you know when,” they write.
