Developer S2 Games, having recently announced its decision to bypass traditional methods of publishing and distribution for Savage 2: A Tortured Soul, today announced that all customers who pre-order the game before April 15, 2006 will receive instant guaranteed beta approval. Launching in the Fall of 2006, Savage 2: A Tortured Soul will be available for purchase as an online download from the S2 Games Website at $29.99 USD, a rarely seen low price point for a triple-A PC game.
S2 will be offering the guaranteed beta approval, which is to be a closed beta process, as an added bonus to customers that pre-order the game. With guaranteed approval, pre-order customers will be notified once the beta testing begins and will be invited to visit the beta testing site, enter their account credentials and download the game files. This added incentive to pre-ordering before April 15, 2006 will give users an early look at the game, and more importantly, will see their feedback help shape the final product.
