QuakeCon 2022 schedule and details announced

QuakeCon returns from August 18 to 20, 2022.

In only two weeks, QuakeCon returns as a streaming event. This year’s event is focused on the QuakeCon community and the games they love.

Between August 18-20, QuakeCon faithful can tune in for meetups on Discord and global livestreams. Expect updates on existing and upcoming games, giveaways, tournaments, charity fundraising, developer interviews, sales on Bethesda games, and much more.

QuakeCon Livestream

The festivities begin at 12:15 pm ET on August 18 with the QuakeCon preshow. Id Software’s Marty Stratton kicks off the main event at 1 PM Eastern with a brief Welcome Message.

Immediately following, fans can tune in to a variety of streams from North America, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and more countries around the world. Streams focused on games will include existing and upcoming titles, like RedfallThe Elder Scrolls OnlineFallout 76Ghostwire: TokyoQuake, and more. Expect special appearances from developers and other personalities. 

In addition, the lineup includes fun community-focused shows like a Quiz-a-Thon Game Show, Cooking In-Game Recipes, Interactive Fundraising Shows, the legendary Dirty Keyboard Contest, PC Building Guides, and much more.

Quake Champions World Championship

QuakeCon wouldn’t be complete without a Quake tournament. This year’s Quake Pro League will culminate with the 2022 Quake Pro League World Championship between August 18 to 20. It broadcasts from the PGL studio in Bucharest, Romania. 13 Quake Pro League players along with 11 Qualifiers will face off in a double-elimination 24-person bracket for the World Championship belt.
