Today is Day 1 of three days of voting in the Championship Round of the Game of the Year Tournament. Resident Evil 4 (GCN/PS2) earned its spot by beating Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) 66.7% to 33.3%. #4 seeded Mario Kart DS (Nintendo DS) beat #1 seeded Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow in a 60% to 40% win, cementing the final match of the tournament. Resident Evil 4 will face Mario Kart DS in three days of voting starting Wednesday, ending Friday at 11:59 p.m.
