Electronic Arts announced today that The Sims 2 Nightlife, the second expansion pack to the critically-acclaimed PC game, will ship starting today in North America under the EA brand. The Sims 2, sequel to the best-selling PC franchise, swept the world by storm in September 2004 by quickly becoming the fastest selling PC game of all time with sales over 5M units worldwide to date.
Developed by the award winning EA-Maxis studio, The Sims 2 Nightlife adds over 125 new objects and all new gameplay elements such as sending your Sims on romantic dates or out on the town with their friends. Later this fall, for the first time, players will also be able to experience The Sims 2 on PlayStation 2, the Xbox, the Nintendo GameCube, and for all handhelds including the PSP, the Nintendo DS, and the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
