A day after being delayed in Japan and two days after it was announced that Sonic would be a playable character, it was revealed today by Nintendo of America that Smash Bros. Brawl was being delayed in the United States as well. The delay pushes Brawl back to February 10, 2008 and leaves a gaping hole in the Wii lineup for holiday 2007. Super Mario Galaxy will have to carry the water now, backed by Metroid Prime 3 and third party offerings such as Guitar Hero III from Activision and NiGHTS from Sega.
