Total War: Medieval II launches on mobile

The BAFTA-nominated strategy classic Total War: Medieval II comes to mobile devices.

The game is designed with mobile in mind. There is a new and refined UI with touch controls. Players seeking to expand their empires can rule their territories and manage diplomatic relations with ease. Huge real-time battles with thousands of on-screen units await.

The mobile version has additional gameplay features to facilitate play on the move. One of those is Command Slowdown, which automatically puts the action into slow-mo while executing battle commands.

“With a compelling mix of massive real-time battles and sophisticated turn-based strategy, this is the complete Total War desktop classic brought to iOS and Android without compromise, as seventeen playable factions vie for supremacy across three continents throughout the turbulent Middle Ages,” says Feral Interactive.

Total War: Medieval II was originally released on PC in 2006. It is out now on iOS and Android devices via the App Store and Google Play Store for $14.99.
