I’m always on the lookout for a neat-looking indie game. The just-announced action-adventure game Trifox fits the bill.
Trifox is a top-down twin-stick action-adventure game set in a colorful world. Players take on the role of a badass, multi-talented fox who is on a quest to restore their destroyed home.
The announcement trailer shows off a sleek game that’s sort of a cross between a cute yet combat-heavy title like Ratchet & Clank and a tower defense game. You’ll be able to choose from three different classes, each with their own abilities, or combine the abilities to create a custom class in order to overcome the game’s challenges.
The indie developer behind the project, Glowfish Interactive, is based out of Belgium. Surprisingly – given the level of quality on display – this is their first title. I have to say, it looks promising!
Trifox is currently scheduled for release in 2020. It is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
