Vivendi Games Denies Interest in Sci

In an unusual press release received by Game Freaks 365 today, Vivendi Universal corporate in Paris issued a sharp rebuke of media reports in Europe suggesting the company may try to buy Sci Entertainment. Until recently, Sci was a small publisher from the UK known mostly for their Conflict: Desert Storm series. This year, however, they bought Eidos, the publisher of Hitman and Tomb Raider. “In view of articles published in the UK press, Vivendi Universal denies any interest in Sci Entertainment and also denies having made any offer,” the press release reads.
