Ragnarock

Ragnarock provides a bombastic VR Viking take on the rhythm game genre, complete with tunes from epic bands such as Alestorm, Gloryhammer, and Wind Rose.

WanadevStudio’s Ragnarock will be released on Steam on July 15th after six months of early access and an overwhelming response from VR gamers. This French VR indie firm began over 10 years ago as a web agency focused on tackling digital and technological issues.

Ragnarock is a single-player and multiplayer VR rhythm game in which players assume the roles of Viking captains participating in a frantic longship race. To proceed to the finish line, players must hit the runes in sync to music ranging from Celtic rock to power metal with their hammers.

In a colorful and stylish visual design inspired by Norse mythology, players sail to Viking realms. Only the most experienced Vikings will be able to gather all of the gold medals, beat the top scores, produce unrivaled combinations, and have their name appear on the scoreboard.

The PvP multiplayer option allows you to compete in frantic real-time races with up to six other players. The cross-play feature promises furious games between players from various platforms. The most competitive players will be able to race against phantom ships in solitary mode.

Ragnarock will be released on Steam on July 15 for $24.99. WanadevStudio also announced that the game would be available on the Oculus Quest 2 headset beginning this summer.
