We just retired the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U sections from our navigation bar

If you’re a frequent site visitor and noticed that things looked a little different, first of all, good eye! Second, we have indeed made a few cosmetic changes to the site.

If you are viewing the site on a desktop, you’ll notice that the category and platform navigation bar has changed. We’ve moved the alphabetized categories up and shifted the platforms beneath it.

Next, you will notice that there are a few changes to the listed categories and platforms. Indie Games and Esports have been added as categories. Meanwhile, we’ve retired the PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 from the navigation bar. Replacing those platforms are new sections for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Finally, if you look at the homepage there are now a full 20 stories in the News Roll instead of just 10. We’ve also fixed the broken “More News Stories” link. Lastly, we’ve removed the Facebook and Twitter feeds in the sidebar to both improve site speed and give the desktop site a less cluttered appearance.
