Xbox continues to work to make Xbox the favorite platform for console and PC gamers. Therefore, day after day they are developing new features that not only improve the user experience, but also the gaming experience.
Therefore, this week they have announced the launch of the September update of the Xbox X Series X|S and new PC gaming features through the Xbox app. The star of the show, though, was the new option to customize the Xbox logo on the Elite Series 2 controllers.
Several thoughtful changes to enhance the experience
This new firmware version includes a lot of new features that had already been anticipated after several statements from Xbox developers. Among them we can find the changes in the game library, or the new inclusions to the voice chat. Among the most important changes we can find:
- Noise reduction in group chats comes to Xbox One and PC.
- Xbox Game Bar of Windows receives functions to share screenshots and clips.
- Groups can now be created from the Xbox mobile app.
- Redesign of the library, which now shows the games divided between purchased and subscriptions.
- Now you can select the destination of the installation of games on console.
Although, the most striking of this update have not been all these new features that have been introduced. Actually the star of the update has been the small change of customization of the Xbox logo of the Elite Series 2 controllers. Thanks to its LED backlighting, we will be able to customize the RGB color of our controller.
A very timely change since the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core controllers were released on the same day as the update. A very smart strategy on the part of Xbox, which will surely sell these controllers like hot cakes!
