Aloof is a cute puzzle battle game coming to Nintendo Switch

Aloof

Aloof is ideal for fans of puzzle games such as Puyo Puyo, Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo II, and the traditional Tetris.

ButtonX, in collaboration with Red Deer Games, announced today that Aloof, their next animal-themed puzzle-fighter, would arrive on the Nintendo Switch in the middle of October. Enter the vibrant world of Aloof, where you’ll face tough levels with various ways to win.

Defeat your opponents in this world full of animals

In Aloof, you must summon and defend tiny islands against your opponent. Move the pieces to the left, right, down, and up. Take your time thinking about the best way to properly reject an opponent’s onslaught.

As with most puzzle games, you may play it in single-player or multiplayer mode, but ButtonX wanted to take things a step further. Instead of the typical arcade multiplayer games that the majority of puzzle-battlers offer, we may have the experience of a campaign mode in one of these two modes in Aloof. Compete with your friends in 1v1 or 2v2 battles in the co-op campaign, which includes puzzle stages, AI matches, rescue missions, and bosses.

Aloof will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2021. The game was previously released on PC and Mac via Steam.
