Studio Wildcard has announced the return of one of Ark: Survival Evolved‘s most enjoyable events.
The annual Turkey Trial 5 Event began on November 23 and will conclude on December 7. In this crazy and amusing event where Thanksgiving is celebrated in an unusual fashion, players will see the DodoRex Tribute and will be able to obtain unique things by hunting a Super Turkey – naturally.
Super Turkeys are back!
Yes, these Super Turkeys will only visit Ark Island for the Turkey Trial 5 event. Like their relatives, the Dodos, they will stroll around the island, enjoying the various weather while screaming at the top of their lungs that they want to be hunted.
Players that kill these massive turkeys will get Wishbones, which can be used to purchase new chibis, a new turkey outfit, event-themed emotes, and brand new “Ugly” clothing. In addition, during the Turkey Trial 5 Event, players will get higher rates for XP, harvesting, taming, breeding, and other activities across all official servers.
Turkey Trial 5, in addition to being a yearly in-game event, acts as a prologue to the future free maps Lost Island, which will be released on December 14, 2021, and the Nordic-style, cold-weather Fjodur, which will be released in June 2022.
The Turkey Trial 5 event is now available in Ark: Survival Evolved for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Android, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
