Corporate America is a ridiculous shooter about life after automation

There’s a new absurdist first-person shooter from solo developer Sam DeMinico out today. It’s called Corporate America.

Corporate America is an absurdist first-person shooter set in a near future in which AI has taken all of our jobs. The only jobs left for humans are shooting emails back and forth – literally.

The game seems to be a satire on the absurdities and mundane nature of office life. It literally has you shoot emails at your co-workers. Or maybe the developer just hates his desk job?

Anyway, the game features online and LAN modes for up to 15 players. It contains five different arenas and three different game types: patience-match, patriot-match, and capitalism.

The game just launched on Steam today. It retails for $10.
