Dark fantasy Metroidvania 3000th Duel out now on Switch

3000th Duel

Indie developer Neo Popcorn has released the dark fantasy 3000th Duel on the Nintendo Switch. The game draws inspiration from Metroidvania games and classic films like Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Neo Popcorn describes 3000th Duel as “an obscure exploration-focused, side-scroller action RPG.” The game contains over 150 monsters and bosses in a universe with more than 300 organically-connected biomes.

You play as a masked hero who suffers from amnesia. Throughout the story, you’ll discover your true identity. The game was previously released on PC via Steam. It is available on Switch via the Nintendo eShop. At the moment, there is a launch discount, which brings the game down to $11.99.
