Umanimation has attracted the attention of a publisher with its attractive indie title Dordogne. The game features incredible artwork.
Dordogne will be released on PC and consoles next year, thanks to a partnership between Focus Entertainment and indie development studio Umanimation. Dordogne is a nostalgic and moving narrative experience with sumptuous art direction in hand-painted watercolor landscapes, created by creative director Cédric Babouche.

An unexpected alliance
“With this partnership for Dordogne, Focus once again demonstrates its active and historic support for the French-speaking scene, as well as its constant desire to offer singular titles and vectors of emotion,” said Yves Le Yaouanq, Chief Content Officer of Focus Entertainment.
“Cédric Babouche and Aymeric Castaing, both from animation backgrounds, have brought together their expertise and talent to create a universe of hand-painted watercolors that bring to life a rich, vibrant video game. The game is driven by a strong, emotive, immersive, and nostalgic narrative, set between past and present, where the dreams and fears of children confront our desires and regrets as adults,” he added.
Now, thanks to a partnership with Focus Entertainment, Umanimation will release its new game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2022. The specific date is expected to be announced once we enter Q1 of next year.
