As stocks continue to run out in Japan, gamers in Britain have found it hard to find a Nintendo DS as well. The country is now home to over a million Nintendo DS owners, according to a BBC report. Driving forces for the system are the loveable Nintendogs and Mario Kart DS. With Great Britain reporting over a million in Nintendo DS sales, that puts the Nintendo DS at more than a million units for each of the three largest countries for gaming (Japan, UK, US). Overall European sales have come in at over 3.5 million units, with North America numbers last checked at 4 million and Japanese now in the 5.5 million range.
