Halo 3 lands on PC next week

Halo 3

More than a decade after its release on Xbox 360, Halo 3 is finally making its way to PC.

The first-person shooter arrives on PC as part of an updated Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The announcement was made via the official Halo Twitter account.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a remastered collection of classic Halo games. The collection has been available on Xbox One for years, but the PC version has slowly been adding games that are optimized for home computers.

By the way, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is included for free with Xbox Game Pass. So if you’re already a subscriber to Game Pass, you don’t have to pay anything extra. Halo 3 is available on PC starting July 7.

My Take

It’ll be nice to finally be able to play Halo 3 on the PC. I expect that the best part, of course, will be the multiplayer. And if you’d rather play on Xbox One, this is already available as part of The Master Chief Collection.
