Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story is coming to the West on February 20 for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Players who purchase the game in the first week will get two free DLC.
According to Spike Chunsoft, you play as a ronin during Japan’s Meiji Restoration in the volatile Rokkotsu Pass. The isometric hack and slash has randomly-generated dungeons in a historic Japanese setting. It features 100 different weapons, nine fighting styles, and online co-op for up to two players.
As for the game’s story, “the swordsmith Dojima falls into debt and his beautiful daughter is taken as collateral. Help repay the debt by crafting swords by day and exploring the mysterious, twisting dungeons of the Ipponmatsu Cave for valuable materials at night,” the publisher says.
Upon its release, Katana Kami will be available for $29.99. Lastly, early purchasers will save 10 percent.
