The latest Legends of Runeterra expansion, Beyond the Bandlewood, welcomes new multi-region cards.
The card game from Riot is getting its last region very soon. Bandle City is the new region on the way and along with it are a bunch of new cards. With any new set, there are a lot of things to have in consideration. New mechanics and meta are some of the changes that all players need to know before joining a game, but the Bandle City set will change the game as we know it.
The new expansion, Beyond the Bandlewood, introduces players to the brand new multi-region cards. It’s unclear how this will affect the current existing cards from Legends of Runeterra, but players are going to find it out the hard way.
The first alternative cards for champions are one of the more intriguing things that will be brought to Bandle City. Despite the fact that Teemo and Lulu are Bandle City inhabitants, with the new expansion, we can see new variants of Lulu and Teemo as Bandle City’s new region cards.
Though Bandle City is the game’s final region-based update, expansions and champions from all around Runeterra will be added in the future. This update includes 126 new cards, including nine new champions and new multi-region cards. Players will also have access to new keywords and mechanics in Bandle City.
Legends of Runeterra is available on Android, iOS, and PC. The game is free to play.
