Need a new drum set for Guitar Hero or Rock Band? Logitech has a solution for you, but it will put you back $230. You read that right… two hundred and thirty big ones. If you are wondering what in the world justifies that price you aren’t alone.

Joining the Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller, the new Wireless Drum Controller lets you rock out to your favorite songs on the PS3 system.”
The Logitech Wireless Drum Controller, as it is called, will be released for the PS3 in July. It features three fully adjustable drum heads and two cymbal pads to go along with the Guitar Hero drum set style. Each piece can be positioned to fit your reach and suit your style. The rims are recessed to help make it easier to score points and avoid accidental rim shots. The kick pedal uses a stainless steel surface and an adjustable spring – providing a highly durable, responsive drumming experience. They also claim that it can deliver up to 50 hours of battery life on two AA’s.
