Nuclear Blaze is a 2D action platformer where you play as a firefighter

When the son of Nuclear Blaze creator Sébastien Benard told him what he wanted to be when he grew up, the lead designer of Dead Cells understood what he had to accomplish.

Deepnight Games has revealed the release date for Nuclear Blaze, their forthcoming game. Nuclear Blaze is a one-of-a-kind 2D firefighting game from the creators of Dead Cells, in which you’ll battle deadly backdrafts, exploding walls, and complicated sprinkler systems. Your mission is to make your way through a mystery complex while attempting to put out the fire.

Put on the boots of a firefighter

It’s up to you to clear all fires in each sector using just your wits, reflexes, and trusty fire hose. But it won’t be easy: wildfire will spread uncontrolled all around you, and every door you enter may lead to yet another uncontrollable blaze.

But Deepnight Games’ upcoming title isn’t only about putting out fires: hidden within the embers is a universe full of spicy mysteries, scorching tips that will develop the plot, and, of course, the cats in danger must be saved.

Nuclear Blaze will be available for PC via Steam on October 18, 2021.
