New updates for LA Noire and Max Payne 3 on Steam have added all of those games’ DLC for free.
In addition, the update removes support for 32-bit operating systems. So if you run a 32-bit operating system, it sounds like you’ll want to avoid installing the update.
Eurogamer has more details on the story:
These updates were quietly issued yesterday, 19th April – the same day Rockstar somehow managed to delist its entire PC catalogue on Steam before relisting it again (Midnight Club 2 was briefly available to buy for the first time in three years). Perhaps someone somewhere at Rockstar fell on a load of PC publishing buttons or something?
Okay, well, that’s random. These are both old games now, so for them to even receive an update at this point is somewhat surprising. Still, kudos to Rockstar Games for thinking of fans and throwing in DLC for free. (Or maybe it was done on accident?)
