Sony announced the PlayStation Plus lineup for October during Tuesday’s State of Play presentation.
Next month’s games will be The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19. Both are fairly fitting, since The Last of Us Part 2 just got its February 2020 release date confirmed. October marks the start of the MLB playoffs.
The Last of Us first debuted back in 2013 on the PS3. The Naughty Dog-developed title is PS3’s swan song. The Remastered version was released on PS4 a year later. Both versions received rave reviews.
MLB The Show is Sony’s popular in-house baseball franchise. MLB The Show 19 is the first game in the series to appear as part of PlayStation Plus.
This month’s PlayStation Plus titles, Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders 3, are still available to claim if you haven’t done so already.
