Exor Studios, a Polish independent gaming studio comprised of enthusiastic video game industry veterans, has announced that its new game, The Riftbreaker, will be released this autumn for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Riftbreaker is a base-building, survival game with Action-RPG features in which you play as an elite scientist/commando inside a sophisticated Mecha-Suit capable of traveling across spatial rifts.

Fight, build and survive in Galatea 37.

Take an epic adventure across Galatea 37’s many biomes. You will construct a number of permanent bases across the world, which will drive your economy. Investigate strange chemicals and lifeforms while battling swarms of extraterrestrial monsters that are plainly displeased with your disruption of the planet’s natural order.

The game lasts several hours and provides a tremendous amount of flexibility in a highly detailed, procedurally created setting. You may choose the order of your priorities as well as the technology you wish to utilize. After all, you are the only human present.

In The Riftbreaker, your goal is to survive a certain period of time while fending off progressively harder waves of hostile monsters. Each task in the game is randomized, allowing for near-infinite replayability.

You’ll also need to build a two-way rift that connects to Earth. This will be an extremely difficult task that will need tremendous amounts of energy. Simple solar collectors and a few tons of steel are insufficient. To achieve this task, you will need to construct a complex network of mines, refineries, power plants, and research centers.

Developed on Exor’ proprietary engine.

The Riftbreaker is powered by Exor Studios’ unique Schmetterling 2.0 engine, which enables sophisticated ray tracing methods on both PC and consoles. The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions of the game are verified to operate at 4K resolution with ray tracing effects enabled at up to 60 FPS thanks to the usage of AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution.

The game’s console versions have complete mouse and keyboard compatibility, as well as improved gameplay with in-depth implementations of Impulse and Adaptive triggers, as well as Haptic Feedback. Players will be able to feel the kickback from their weapons directly on their controller triggers, as well as detect environmental impacts like as rain or radiation via haptic feedback.

On October 14, The Riftbreaker will be available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be available at a later date.
