Ever wonder what the top PS5 games are based on the hours that people spend playing? Wonder no more as Sony has revealed the top games on the next-gen console.
You may have heard that today is the first anniversary of the PlayStation 5. (We did a report on it, after all.) In addition to apologizing to fans for supply issues, Sony revealed the top ten games played on PS5 based on gameplay hours.
Here’s a look at the top ten PS5 games played during the console’s first year:
- Fortnite
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
- FIFA 21
- NBA 2K21
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Destiny 2
- MLB The Show 21
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Demon’s Souls Remastered
- NBA 2K22
You’ll notice a few things here: four of the top ten are sports games. In fact, two of the ten are NBA 2K titles. Three are shooters. Only one of the titles (Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales) is a first-party PlayStation exclusive (MLB The Show 21 is also on Xbox). And, of course, both a Call of Duty game and Fortnite rank in the top ten.
