What PS4 games are not backward compatible on PS5?

PS5 console and DualSense controller

The PlayStation 5 launch is fast approaching. Sony recently revealed more details on PS4 backward compatibility, including a list of games that are not supported.

According to Sony, “more than 99 percent” of PS4 games support backward compatibility on PS5. But there a handful of games that do not support the feature.

Sony says that “on PlayStation Store, PS4 games that are not playable on the PS5 console will be marked with ‘Playable on: PS4 only.'” So they will distinguish games on the storefront.

Thankfully, the list is pretty short. None of them are major games.

  • DWVR
  • Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma Volume One

  • Just Deal With It
  • Shadow Complex Remastered
  • Robinson: The Journey
  • We Sing
  • Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
  • Shadwen
  • Joe’s Diner

“This list is subject to change and excludes demos, media, and non-game applications,” Sony says.

PlayStation 5 launches on November 12. It has two models: a standard edition for $499 and a disc-less Digital Edition for $399.
