It’s not always that I feel the need to write an editorial. Surrounding the Xbox 360’s MTV event was a parade of media hype that we haven’t heard since Halo 2’s launch. In my editorial, I discuss the reasons why the Xbox has failed to match the PS2, what Microsoft could do (but probably won’t) to close the gap, and why I expect, from early indications, that the Xbox 360 will go the way of one of the most adored modern consoles.
