Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is coming to all platforms respecting TCG rules

Konami’s developer of the collectable card game, Kenichi Kataoka, revealed today that Yu-Gi-Oh! The card game is the focus of Master Duel

Since the early 2000s, perhaps, the great majority of Yu-Gi-Oh! games have focused around Kazuki Takahashi’s manga rather than the rules of the Trading Card Game, or TCG as it is called in the business. This new Konami game is the new title of the saga that will be available on all platforms; it removes the characters from the previous manga described and replaces them with you as the main character who battles against people all around the world.

The game that TCG fans have been waiting for

As he promotes Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kataoka hints that Master Duel is intended for those who are familiar with the genre. Duel Links for novices to the TCG.

In today’s Digital Next, the Konami producer stated that while that game, together with Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist While Link Evolution and Duel Link are “positioned as character games that allow players to experience the manga and anime world of the saga,” Master Duel “distinguishes itself as a game that lets players to completely appreciate the official collectable card game.”

According to the producer, they are developing the game while striking a balance between the magnificent display and the tempo of the fights. “We are certain that spectators will like watching it as well,” Kataoka says, noting that there will be competitive and amateur tournaments for players of all levels, as well as a spot for the title in the global championship dedicated to the card game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be available globally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, iOS, and Android, and will include beautiful 4K visuals on compatible devices for the first time in a Yu-Gi-Oh! release.
