Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC

The Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC adds new content to Story and Family Trials modes.

Ancient Spirits, the latest DLC for Children of Morta from 11 Bit Studios and Dead Mage, was released today. Yajouj’Majouj is the newest addition to the list of playable characters in the rogue-lite dungeon crawler’s latest DLC.

Yajouj’Majouj has arrived

11 bit studios has done an incredible job with Children of Morta, since the game has received free updates as well as two paid DLCs that provide a significant amount of new content. A new sort of warrior appears in Ancient Spirits, offering two distinct combat techniques to a single combatant.

Yajouj’Majouj, the love child of a man and a goblin, fluidly changes combat forms alongside their basic and special attacks, alternating between spinning whirlwinds of Spirit Embers and the magnetic, hurting force of a quirky friend.

Yajouj’Majouj is not the only thing Ancient Spirits brings

In addition to Yajouj’Majouj, who will only be available in the game’s Family Trials mode, the DLC includes new character masks to customize each family member, as well as five relics, five charms, and five graces that will provide players with new powers to further enhance combat and playstyle in both the Story and Family Trials modes.

Since its initial release in 2019, the game has progressively grown its content. As of today, the Children of Morta: Complete Edition includes the original game as well as two paid DLCs, Ancient Spirits and the charity-fundraising Paws and Claws.

Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits and Children of Morta: Complete Edition are both on sale for a limited time on Steam.
