Players can take a dive ahead of Steam Next Fest.
As part of Steam Next Fest, players can now dive into Mintrocket’s upcoming marine adventure Dave the Diver. After dipping their toes in this free demo, players can head over to the official developer livestreams next week to get behind-the-scenes insight and participate in Q&A sessions.
The demo features 30 minutes to an hour of gameplay that includes ocean explorations, a sushi restaurant tycoon, weapon collections, and more. Players can explore the mysterious Blue Hole filled with a beautiful sea of numerous fish species and giant creatures whose ecology and topography are constantly changing.
After the ascent, players can make and sell special sushi dishes with the fresh ingredients they caught during their dive. Successfully running the restaurant and earning money allows players to take their exploration even deeper. An unknown creature awaits players in the giant Blue Hole, so it’s important to upgrade your equipment.
The Dave the Diver developer livestreams will air at 10 PM Pacific on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14 on the official Steam page. Steam Next Fest runs from June 13 to June 20.
