Google is offering a 30-day free trial of Google Play Pass for new users.
If you haven’t heard of it, Google Play Pass was released last September as Google’s Android equivalent of the Apple Arcade. Play Pass gives subscribers access to a catalog of games over 350 games and apps that are completely unlocked and ad-free.
The introductory offer at launch was $1.99 a month for the first year. The service normally retails for $4.99 a month. This latest offer will mean that users will not even need to pay $1.99 for their first month, but it also means that subsequent months will be more expensive.
Take time for Play. Enjoy Google Play Pass, your ?️ to hundreds of games and apps without ads or in-app purchases, for an extended 30-day free trial. Offer ends May 14, 2020. Terms apply. https://t.co/XV2ft1tufZ #PlayPass pic.twitter.com/SkgYHJyqT9

Personally, I don’t see myself paying $5 a month for this service, considering the current lineup of games. But maybe you’ll find it worth your time? I don’t know. Either way, there’s no harm in giving the trial a chance. However, the offer must be redeemed before May 14.
