Team Ninja’s upcoming Nioh 2 will land on PS4 next spring. The game’s open beta is now live and playable until November 10.
“One of the primary reasons for not rushing to set a launch date was to ensure that we can achieve a genuine evolution from Nioh, which to us meant that we needed to bring in fresh new elements while retaining the things that we felt were right from the first game,” explains Nioh 2‘s producer, Fumihikio Yasuda.
If you’ve yet to experience the first Nioh, the game is available in November as part of PlayStation Plus. You’ll just need an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

Nioh 2 is currently a PS4 exclusive, although we would not be surprised if it is eventually released on PC. It is scheduled for a March 13, 2020 release date.
