Skater XL receives a new Industrial Zone Map

Skater XL Industrial Zone Map

With less than 3 days to Christmas, the new map with movable objects arrives as a Christmas present.

Easy Day Studios and Jean-Olive have announced the release of the new Skater XL map Industrial Zone, just in time for the holidays. Industrial Zone not only provides us with skate locations, but it also provides us with movable objects that we can employ in our trick lines.

A map made by a fan of skateboarding games.

Jean-Olive developed and built Industrial Zone, a gritty terrain full of shipping ports, loading docks, and heavy-duty equipment. Jean-Olive has always enjoyed skateboarding games, dating back to the early Tony Hawk titles. This fan also designed the Streets map, which was featured in Skater XL‘s release last year. The map was adjusted for performance and aesthetic quality by the team at Easy Day Studios, despite the fact that Jean did the majority of the work.

Easy Day Studios’ new update also includes a game-changing feature that allows users to personalize the area by moving certain features such as forklifts, barricades, and construction supplies. This is made possible by Skater XL‘s future “DIY Map Editor” tool, which will be available soon.

Also, don’t worry if you prefer to skate during the day or after work. Industrial Zone comes in two versions: day and night, each with dramatic lighting effects that serve as a fascinating backdrop for filming highlight-worthy video sections using the game’s replay editor.

Skater XL is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam for a limited time.
