Steel Assault is now available on PC and Switch

Steel Assault available now

The retro action platformer Steel Assault offers players a true arcade experience.

Not long after the announcement of the release date here on Game Freaks 365, Zenovia Interactive, in cooperation with publisher Tribute Games, has announced that Steel Assault is now available on Switch and PC.

A classic 2D action platformer

Steel Assault is a traditional 2D action platformer with 16-bit visuals, a soundtrack reminiscent of 1990s games, and an aspect ratio that, when combined with filters that mimic old CRT televisions, makes Zenovia Interactive’s offering a strong throwback arcade experience in all the right ways.

In Steel Assault, you will take on the role of Taro Takahashi, a rebel soldier on a quest for vengeance against the tyrant who rules over the ashes. You’ll punch adversaries and zipline your way out of peril in a post-apocalyptic America in traditional action platformer style, staying faithful to the genre and drawing inspiration from titles like Mega Man and Metroid.

The game is available on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam with a special 10% discount for the game’s debut.
