Plus, fans can expect Oro, Akira Kazama, and a new stage starting on August 16, according to the digital event.

Luke moves fast and punches hard!

Luke is the fifth character for Season 5 and the last fighter introduced in Street Fighter V. Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto unveiled Luke at Summer Update 2021.

This brand-new character will serve to extend the Street Fighter universe and give fans a look into the future. Based on the brief gameplay footage, Luke is a fighter who specializes in moving quickly and hitting hard. So opponents must be on high alert and brace for contact.

Oro, the wandering hermit is back

Oro, the hermit from Street Fighter III, returns in Street Fighter V after a lengthy absence. He’s eager to impart his humor and wisdom with anybody who is interested.

This character, dressed modestly in a purple robe and a brown rope belt, switches his pet turtle between his right and left hands to push himself and maintain a balanced combat style. For Street Fighter V, Oro keeps many of his previous techniques while adding a few new ones, making him a very powerful fighter for players to learn.

The sexy Akira Kazama is here!

Akira Kazama made her highly awaited Street Fighter debut after beginning her fighting game career in the Rival Schools series in 1997. Akira wears her customary black motorcycle outfit in Street Fighter V and prides herself on being the tough, silent type.

Akira’s playstyle screams volumes while she’s near, but she also has some long-distance techniques that will make her opponents think twice about going too far. Akira has been researching and will be ready to school everyone who crosses her path with lots of fresh tricks up her motorcycle gloves.

Rival Riverside is coming straight outta Rival Schools

Along with the playable character Akira, “Rival Riverside” is a new Street Fighter V level based on Akira’s Rival Schools days. This stage, located near a familiar river and Akira’s high school, takes place at twilight and features numerous familiar people from earlier in the day.

The Street Fighter V Season 5 Character Pass or Premium Pass is required to obtain Oro, Akira, and Luke. The new characters and Akira’s brand-new stage “Rival Riverside” will all be available on August 16. However, Luke, the recently revealed new fighter heading to Street Fighter V, will not be available until November 2021.

If you wish to buy these characters separately, they are $5.99 each. Street Fighter V Champion Edition is now available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
